Build a Bowl
This beginner friendly program will walk students through using clay slabs to hand build their own pottery bowl. This bowl is personal size- perfect for soup on a cozy day or midnight cereal! Students will have the opportunity to embrace creative freedom and add personality through texture rollers, carving, or sculpting 3D appendages onto their mugs- bring your inspo pictures and ideas! Learn tips & tricks from practicing artist, Casey, and create your own fancy, food safe bowl. No prior experience needed! Drinks and treats will be available for additional purchase!
Seating is limited, preregistration is REQUIRED. Class is best suited for ages 18+.
Mugs will be ready for pickup from the original class site 4-5 weeks post class, announced on The Happy House Eclectic Facebook page. Pieces not picked up in a timely manner will be re-homed at venues discretion.

ASL 101
This class introduces students to the fundamentals of American Sign Language (ASL), focusing on basic vocabulary, grammar, fingerspelling, and numbers. Students will develop expressive and receptive signing skills through interactive practice, visual-gestural communication, and storytelling. The course also explores aspects of Deaf culture, history, and community to promote cultural awareness and sensitivity.

Zine Making
Come learn how to make a zine!
Zines (pronounced “zeen”) are DIY, self-published works. They can be as simple as one sheet of paper cut and folded or as creative as multiple pages cut and sewn together. There are no rules.
They’re a wonderful way to share knowledge, art, poetry, ideas, and stories.
In this workshop, you’ll learn a few different ways to make a zine and then get creative together making your own one-sheet mini zines.
Paper, pens and markers, and some basic collage materials provided. Bring your own ideas or get inspired while we make.
No artistic talent required!

Casey Davey is a lifelong artist and a full-time mom of two little ones. Casey started as a wheel potter, but has loved the accessibility and diversity of projects that hand-building has brought into her world. Seeing people connect to themselves and with others through clay is something she is passionate about.
