Women & CoWorking (Oak Ridge)

  • Calamitys Coffee 219 Jackson Square Oak Ridge, TN, 37830 United States (map)

Hosted every 2nd Thursday, this is an opportunity for female small business owners to connect, share resources and build community. Women & CoWorking is a space for entrepreneurs who want real conversations, practical resources, and the chance to ask the tough questions. These monthly meetups center around a core topic led by an expert in the field, while leaving plenty of room for open discussion with people who understand the realities of entrepreneurship.

This isn’t a stiff networking event or a perfectly polished business meeting. It’s for people who are tired of structured spaces with dress codes and pressure to always be “on.” We talk about important topics, support one another through challenges, and create community, all without the expectation of heels, formalities, or pretending to have it all figured out.

You Can Be Kind and Still Have Standards

Cora Bennett, of CorAlign HR, does not take a traditional approach to human resources. Her work isn’t transactional. It’s intentional, relational, and built on understanding how people actually behave at work. Cora will be discussing the difference between being nice, being clear, and being fair at work.
